Independent Insurance Policy Reviews

Your insurance policy is a complicated contract.

Commercial property and liability insurance policies are comprised of hundreds of pages that include terms and conditions, exclusions, and complicated insurance jargon, all of which determine the amount an insured will receive for a claim.

I read commercial property and liability policies and advise the insured of the specific terms, conditions, and exclusions that negatively affect the amount received on a claim. The negative financial impact could amount to 5–7 figures.

About01

A career reading
the fine print.

My career encompasses 10 years as a CPA and 20 years in the insurance industry.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve reviewed hundreds of property and casualty policies. A very large percentage of these policies either did not provide a necessary coverage or included policy terms that eliminated or reduced coverage if certain conditions were not met. This could have cost the insured 5–7 figures when a property or liability loss event occurred.

In virtually all of these cases, the insured had not been made aware of these potential Claim Surprises by their broker.

Let’s set up a 15-minute virtual meeting to review an example of a Claim Surprise Analysis (CSA). The CSA is a financial analysis of a company’s in-force insurance policies that provides an estimate of the financial impact of the various terms, conditions, and coverage gaps described above.

If you are interested, I will review your current policies and prepare a Claim Surprise Analysis. After the review, I can assist you in discussing the information with your broker in order to get the issues addressed.
